It was a feat to realise this project in a nature reserve. We erected four viewing towers made of galvanised steel with a steel plate roof. The wall covering is composed of bamboo slats running diagonally across parallelogram-shaped thermowood slats and green plexiglass. All this creates an interplay of shadow and light. The ground floor consists of pressed grids and the stairs of perforated steel sheet. The floor covering of the upper floors is made of thermowood. We also provided information and poster boards and benches built in the same wooden style as the viewing towers.
