An architectural beauty! In order to meet the increasing comfort and safety requirements, Bruges, which was awarded the title of 'Cultural Capital of Europe' in 2002, renovated the station square and bus station. We provided six pavilions, including a Lijnwinkel and a rest area for the Lijn staff, and ten waiting shelters. The pavilion porches were constructed from galvanised and painted flat steel elements that were welded together in our workshops to form rafters. The wall cladding consists of glass with a woven line print and the roofing of flat steel that is mounted in different slopes. We applied an anti-graffiti coating as a finish. In addition, there are no visible joints or fixings, and the construction has an integrated rainwater drain in the rafters.

The waiting shelters are made of galvanised and painted steel with a roof covering of flat steel and a wall covering of hardened glass with etched stripes. As the corners of the tubes had to be straight, they were made of two hot-rolled L-profiles.
