A striking piece of architecture. This canopy is part of a larger overall project and consists of galvanised and powder coated steel, tempered laminated glass as wall cladding and a skylight made of matt multi-walled polycarbonate. Striking are the bronze glazing beads, which are extremely resistant to corrosion. The canopy is held in place by tie-rods that come together at the top of the centred columns, evoking the image of a mast. The front beam was filled with lead to protect the structure from flying up. The complex construction has a modern design and thanks to the material used and the high quality finish, it is extremely durable.
