Project Engineer

Zele - Belgium

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for various construction sites within the customisation department. You do the work preparation and coordinate the measurements, the stability calculations, the drawing work, and the entire production process up to final assembly. You are responsible for the complete elaboration and follow-up of the projects assigned to you on a technical and administrative level. You manage the budget and are in close contact with the suppliers, clients, building owner and architect or study bureau.

Responsibilities:

• Taking measurements on site
• Elaborating the technical concept
• Performing stability calculations
• Supervision of drawing work
• Queries/orders from suppliers
• Liaising with architectural firm - client
• Managing assembly teams for your own sites
• Drawing up the safety plan and measurement and progress statements
• Drawing up as-built plan
• Budget control and invoicing

• Diploma in industrial engineering or equivalent through experience
• You have at least 3 years' experience in a technical environment, preferably in a similar industry (engineering and metal).
• Professionalism, enthusiasm and reliability characterise your behaviour and approach.
• You are enterprising, flexible, independent and result-oriented.
• You think customer-oriented, future-oriented and enjoy taking the initiative.
• You closely follow the latest trends within our sector. 
• You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch and can express yourself fluently in French and English.
• You have experience in working with an ERP package.
• You know the current Microsoft office applications 
• You are familiar with 3D drawing packages (e.g. Tekla, Topsolid, Solidworks, etc.).
